The world and its favourite paparazzi may bitch about askew relations between filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The fact is, they are the best of friends even though the world around them would love to see them fight over their respective film Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale, respectively.
Evidence of the SLB-SRK dosti was on full display at the Bachchans' Diwali party.
According to a star-guest at the Diwali bash, "Bhansali and Shah Rukh bonded big time at the Bachchans' on Diwali. When they met, they hugged one another and were seen locked in serious conversation for a good half an hour. Shah Rukh congratulated SLB on the songs of Bajirao Mastani and Bhansali expressed happiness over the trailer of Dilwale."
According to those in the know, the two buddies have promised one another there won't be any backbiting and bitching about one another's film.
Says a reliable source. "SLB and SRK are not going to fall into the trap this time of getting into a slinging match as they did in 2007 Diwali when Saawariya and Om Shanti Om were released simultaneously. Their films are coming together. But sorry, there will no fireworks between Bhansali and SRK this Christmas."
