After composing for international musical stage versions of Lord of the Rings and Bombay Dreams , A.R.Rehman is all set to compose for two concerts organized by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO), which conducted its 100th performance last year. For the first concert to be held in March 2004, Rehman has selected instrumental theme pieces, which he has composed in the past 12 years. For the second concert to be held in November 2004, Rehman will compose tunes on Sufi poet Farid Attar's literature The Conference of the Bird.
