Ratna Pathak Shah, who was last seen in Golmaal 3, will be seen next in Shakun Batra's Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. The film stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles and Ratna plays Imran's mother in the film.
Ratna had earlier played Imran Khan's mother in Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, but character she plays is in EMAET is a complete contrast to the one she played in the former film. Her role is somewhat on the lines of the character of Maya Sarabhai, she portrayed in the hit sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. In EMAET, she plays Boman Irani's wife who is an extremely fashion conscious woman.
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is a rom-com produced by Karan Johar and will release on February 10, 2012.
