Rani Mukerji's brother, Raja Mukerji, found himself on the wrong side of the law when he was arrested by the cops yesterday after a television actress accused him of molesting her.
The victim, identified as Priya Mishra, stated that the incident happened when she had gone to meet Raja to narrate a script and he tried to molest the starlet in his car. Talking about the incident, ACP Narsingh Sherkhan said that the woman had gone to show Raja Mukerji a script and he tried to molest her. He added that following her complaint, Raja was sent for a medical test and then taken into police custody.
Rani Mukerji’s brother arrestedA case under IPC 354 has been registered against Raja, who is presently lodged in Andheri jail. He will be produced in court today.
