South superstar Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja will be making his Bollywood debut with the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Zanjeer. The remake will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
Ram Charan Teja is a huge star down south and is very selective about the films he does. His film Magadheera broke all records and ran for an uninterrupted 300 plus days, and became the highest grossing Telugu film industry.
Ram Charan Teja in Zanjeer remakeWhen we contacted director Apoorva Lakhia, he confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I am directing the remake of Zanjeer with Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja stepping into Mr. Bachchan's shoes. The actress to be paired opposite him is yet to be decided."
The first schedule of the film is slated for the month of April.
