After Rishi Kapoor [AA AB LAUT CHALEN] and Rajiv Kapoor [PREM GRANTH] tried their hand at direction, there's been no news on the R.K. front. Of late, the Kapoors have been lying low, though we keep hearing of projects being planned by them.
Now, here's the latest round of news! According to grapevine, the Kapoors are all set to get active on the production front once again. Reportedly, three projects are being planned, to be directed by Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv each. Each will roll one after the other.
According to sources, Randhir's project is likely to star two heroes [one senior - not finalised, one younger - Shahid Kapur?] and one leading lady [Kareena Kapoor?] essaying pivotal roles. Rishi's project will be the launch pad of his son Ranbir as an actor. A new leading lady will be finalised for this film. As for Rajiv's project, it is heard that he's currently scripting his new film.
Here's hoping the premier banner that is synonymous with quality cinema bounces back with renewed vigour under the able leadership of the three brothers. Awaiting a formal announcement from them!
