Mohammed Fasih, the producer of Insaaf The Justice has received threats from Mrityunjay Kumar as to not to release his film (esp. in Bihar) coming out this Friday. The film is supposedly based on the 1995 Champa Biswas case wherein the wife of an IAS officer in Bihar was allegedly raped by Mrityunjay Kumar Yadav and the act was assisted by her politician mother Hemalata Yadav. Namrata Shirodkar plays the rape victim in the film while Sanjay Suri plays her IAS officer husband. Mrityunjay was convicted by the High Court but he wants to fight his case in the Supreme Court. And he claims if the if the Supreme Court declares him not guilty, his reputation will be maligned by then due to the film. The producer however is unmoved by Mrityunjays warnings and is all set to release the film the coming Friday.
