Priyanka Chopra, the 18-year-old Bareilly girl, has been crowned Miss World. The entire country is celebrating the event, what with Lara Dutta winning the Miss Universe title a few months ago. But not many are aware that two film-makers of repute are trying hard to woo the current beauty queen for their films. The makers -- Subhash Ghai and Yash Chopra. Subhash Ghai is keen on casting Ms. Chopra for his next project, once again starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. To be shot entirely in the United States, the project will be launched in January 2001, but the actual shooting will commence later. On the other hand, Yash Chopra is keen on casting Priyanka for his Shah Rukh Khan-Uday Chopra starrer, which will also roll next year. One waits for the response from the beauty queen herself. As per the rules of the Miss World contest, the title holder will have to devote time for the next one year for the Miss World commitments. So even if Priyanka does say 'Yes' to any one of the makers, she'd be able to shoot only after one year. Both the makers were unavailable for comment while writing this piece.
