After GANGAAJAL, Prakash Jha is all set to start his new venture RAJNITI. Reportedly, the project is likely to star four heroes. Jha smiles as you broach the topic. "As of now, I've merely finalised the title [RAJNITI]. But the star cast hasn't been decided yet," he tells me. After a pause, he continues, "We're currently working on the script of the film. There's a possibility that the project may demand five or even six heroes. A decision would be arrived at once we are through with the scripting." Will the project roll this year? "Yes, it should, but it all depends on when my team of writers are ready with the final draft of the script. But the project won't be a quickie this time around. We would require a minimum of 50/60 days of shooting," he states. Although Jha is not revealing the cast, the grapevine is abuzz that Jha favourite Ajay Devgan will head the star cast yet again.
