For almost two decades, the blackbuck poaching case which has Salman Khan has the main accused has been pending in Jodhpur court and is yet to arrive at a decision. Now the latest addition to the accused names is that of Soha Ali Khan.
Soha Ali Khan who tied the knot with live-in boyfriend and co-actor Kunal Khemmu in 2015 recently announced that the couple is expecting their first child. However, while the news spread like wild fire last week, the actress’ name has now been dragged into the blackbuck poaching case.
Soha apparently owns a weapon that was licensed to her in 1996 when she was a minor. Filing these allegations against the actress was activist Naresh Kumar Kadian who further requested for an investigation in the case from Lokyukta. Justice N K Aggarwal has now ordered the Gurugram police to submit a report about Soha Ali Khan’s arms license.
Apparently, the weapon licensed under her name has been found to be involved in the blackbuck poaching case. According to recent news, a report submitted to Lokyukta on March 10 this year states that Soha Ali Khan has allegedly concealed her age whilst receiving an arms license which make it a punishable offence under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
Let us remind you that Salman Khan and his co-stars, which also included Soha Ali Khan’s actor brother Saif Ali Khan, were accused of killing blackbucks in 1998 during a hunting session whilst shooting for their film Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur. As of now whilst the matter is under subjudice, earlier this year there were reports about the actor being acquitted from the case.
