The Kapil Sharma show that has been in news for the past one month owing to a major controversy that sparked between the lead host of the show Kapil Sharma and his colleague Sunil Grover seems to have resulted in yet another series of loss for the channel, according to news reports. Apparently, the channel is now looking at replacing it with a superstar’s show.
OMG! Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum to replace The Kapil Sharma show?Just a couple of days ago, speculations were on the rise stating that Salman Khan is looking at resuming his role as a host in the game show Dus Ka Dum. The third season of this show is all set to return after eight years and while the makers were contemplating on a time slot for the same, we hear, that they have decided to lend the 9pm slot on weekends to the show, which currently has The Kapil Sharma show airing on it. Initially, the channel was planning to air Dus Ka Dum at the 8pm time slot, right before the Kapil Sharma show.
On the other hand, it is being said that the makers are currently suffering losses after Sunil Grover walked out of The Kapil Sharma show. The TRPs have reportedly seen a drastic decline after the rift between the two comedians. It has also been learnt that the channel was paying thrice the amount that Kapil received when his show was being aired on Colors [with a similar concept]. And now it seems that the channel isn’t receiving a satisfying response and hence is looking for a replacement.
However, neither the makers nor Kapil’s team have reacted or responded to these rumours. It is yet to be seen if the channel finalizes this decision.
