A US-based Gujarati man named Gopi Seth is currently in news for taking his love for Bollywood to the next level. The Internet Security Engineer organized an inauguration ceremony on August 27 at his residence in Edison City, New Jersey to unveil the statue. The Seth family also invited community leader Albert Jasani to do the honours. This statue featured Amitabh Bachchan in his Kaun Banega Crorepati look and was placed in a glass box.
As per reports, the statue was made in Rajasthan and is worth USD 75,000 which approximately amounts to Rs. 60 lakhs INR. Reports also have it that the event was attended by over 600 people, who wanted to get a glimpse of this lavish statue. Furthermore, when Gopi Seth took to social media to share photos from the event, it garnered a massive response with the photos going viral. The photos featured the entire family posing with the Amitabh Bachchan statue.

News agency PTI quoted Gopi Sheth wherein the engineer confessed that Amitabh Bachchan is like a God to him and his wife. Speaking about his love for the Sarkar actor, he said, "He is nothing less than a god to me and my wife. The biggest thing that inspires me about him is not only his reel life but also his real-life - how he manages himself in public, how he conveys and communicates; everything you know. He is very down-to-earth. He takes care of his fans. He is not like so many other stars. This is why I thought I should have his status outside of my house.”
In the statement, he also revealed that Amitabh Bachchan was aware of this tribute, but the megastar had maintained that he didn’t deserve this kind of treatment. Besides the statue, Gopi Seth also runs a website, which is a fan page of the KBC host, called www.BigBEfamily.com.
