Yash Raj Films have decided to keep the brand 'Hum' and 'Tum', the two cartoon characters in HUM TUM, alive. Plans are afoot to develop the two animation characters into a cartoon series, which will be telecast on a children's channel in the near future. We are still working on it, HUM TUM director Kunal Kohli confirms the development, The characters have clicked with the viewers and Yash Raj Films have decided to keep them alive in public memory by marketing them into a cartoon series. However, Kohli denies that he would be scripting or directing the cartoon series. We've decided to hire the services of writers and directors who are proficient in making cartoon series. I might just oversee the project, he adds. Besides a cartoon series for television, Yash Raj Films have also decided to come up with cartoon books with the two characters. That's the next step, Kohli adds.
