Erstwhile assistant to film-makers Subhash Ghai and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Samir Hanchate is all set to make his directorial debut. Unlike other debutantes who play safe by opting for mass-oriented subjects like love stories and action dramas, this 26-year-old is actually filming the life of a well-known personality from the stock market. My film is not exactly the chronology of any incident. It deals with the emotional trauma that the protagonist undergoes and how circumstances change his life upside down, explains Hanchate, who's hunting for mainstream faces to essay the main characters, which comprises of two male leads and an actress. Hanchate is hopeful of wrapping up the entire shooting in a start-to-finish spell.
