Naseeruddin Shah has also joined the league of actors turning film directors. The veteran actor is all set to direct his first film, to be produced by Shabbir Boxwala. Shabbir, who had been associated with Rajiv Rai for almost all films, turned producer with DIL KA RISHTA, which was co-produced by Aishwarya Rai's brother Aditya. Shabbir will produce this new film independently, with Naseer at the helm of affairs. Naseer is scripting the film currently. We will finalize the cast once we are ready with the script, Shabbir informs me. Will it be a commercial film or middle-of-the-road cinema? It's an out-and-out commercial film, he states.
