Ram Gopal Varma’s 1989 cult film Shiva about youth rebellion and campus politics is all set to have a sequel. Shiva which starred Nagarjuna with his wife Amala could now be a sequel starring the same pair 25 years older and their two sons Nag Chaitanya and Akhil.
Explaining how the story could be carried forward, Nag says, “Yes, it is a possibility. I have an idea for a sequel where my character and his wife now have two sons. It’d be the family film. It’s an idea I have. And I’m working on it.”
Apparently, Shiva‘s director Ram Gopal Varma has been given the idea by Nagarjuna to carry the story from the original film forward. Ramu, busy with a 101 other projects, is yet to come up with a tenable script for Shiva 2.
