After VAASTAV-2, there's news that Shashilal Nair's NAAGRIK is a sequel to ANGAAR and will be based on the theme of underworld. Although Shashilal Nair was unavailable for comment, since he is in France for Cannes, his wife, Mala, chose to speak on his behalf: "You are the second person to ask me this question. I fail to understand from where the news has originated. The fact is that NAAGRIK is not remotely similar to ANGAAR. Nor is it based on the underworld. It is the story of a common man." That should set the record straight!
