The censor board is not happy with another movie. But this time, the reason is not sleaze. The censors have rejected a film titled Chand Bujh Gaya directed by 28-year old Sharique Minhaj claiming that one of the characters in the film bears a striking resemblance to a political figure. Though they haven't named the politician, it's evident that the movie uses a look-alike of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi. The film set on the backdrop of communal violence in Gujarat, which stuck out in 2002 after the Godhra incident, stars Faisal Khan (brother of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan) and Shama Sikander as the romantic lead. The 2hr plus film tells the love story of a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy on the Sabarmati Express, speeding towards Godhra both of who die in the following communal riots. The censors felt that the theme of the film and the use of look-alike can only aggravate the communal harmony of the country.
