Milind Soman, Riya Sen and Aryan Vaid have been teamed in Rajat Rawail's suspense thriller SAAZISH. It's not a whodunit in which the murder is either committed by the hero's driver or the heroine's servant, who the viewers have probably not seen in the entire film. It's a thriller which moves with the audience, Rawail states.
Milind Soman plays Sameer Malhotra, a professor of psychology who's been accused of rape by one of his students, Kajal (Riya Sen). While the court acquits Malhotra, the mystery deepens. I'm not telling you whether I've raped her or not. It's a mystery, he chuckles.
Kajal is an innocent girl who's also very calculative, says Riya, while Aryan plays Jaidev Malik, an undercover cop who's trying to piece together the puzzle.
The film is being shot in a start-to-finish schedule and is scheduled for a Diwali release. Major portions of the film will be shot in Mauritius. Because I needed an island for the film's backdrop, says the director.
