Members of film federation barge on the sets of Bhaiyyaji Superhit to collect payment for workers

While recently the newly wed Preity Zinta was back in Mumbai to shoot for the much delayed film Bhaiyyaji Superhit, it seems that the shoot of the film has once again faced a setback of sorts. Recently, members of the Film Federation barged on to the sets of the film at Karjat due to non-payment issues.

Recent reports claim that the producer of the film, Chirag Dhariwal hasn’t made payment to the workers worth Rs. 2 lakhs. Apparently, non co-operation notice was issued against him in July 2015 and while he continued work on the film without clearing the dues, the vigilante team decided to intervene. On the other hand, Dhariwal has stated that he will be paying Rs. 2 lakh as deposit and if the federation after a meeting finds that he has already made the said payment, it will be refunded.

Voicing out a similar opinion was the member of the federation, Naveen Shetty who too added that a meeting will be held on May 4 and if Dhariwal proves that he has made the payment then the money will be returned, otherwise, the same money will be used to distribute among employees.

Starring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta in prominent roles, Bhaiyyaji Superhit is directed by Neeraj Pathak.
