Lucky Star Entertainment's PINJAR was launched on Jan. 21 at Empire Studios with the recording of a song. Tuned by Uttam Singh and penned by Gulzar, the song was rendered by Jaspinder Narula and Preeti Uttam Singh. The film is inspired by a novel written by Amrita Pritam. Directed by Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, the film stars Manoj Bajpai, Urmila Matondkar, Sanjay Suri, Priyanshu, Sandali Sinha, Isha Koppikar, Lillete Dubey, Alok Nath, Farida Jalal, Seema Biswas, Kiran Kumar, Dayashankar Pandey, Rohitasha Gaud, Sonia Kapoor, Samar Jai Singh and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
