Mahesh Manjrekar is all set to embark on a new project, titled DEH. Rumours mills insist that the film revolves around a middle-aged woman falling in love with a young man, a la SUMMER OF 42. Word spreads faster here, Manjrekar tells me as I call to verify the development, Actually, it's not about a middle-aged woman and a young guy. It's about a woman realising that she's the most important person in her life, not anyone else.
Though Manjrekar is tight-lipped about the casting, it's heard that he has approached Jaya Pradha and Dino Morea for the principal roles. The casting is still on, nothing is finalised yet, he sounds non-committal. Watch this space!
