Guess what's the new mantra film producers have adopted these days? Okay, let me put it this way. Guess which is the next location that will be (over) exploited in Hindi films in days to come? It's Malaysia. Almost every second producer is heading for this South East Asian country to shoot the film. Besides visual appeal, shooting in the country works out much more economical for the producers. With the Malaysian government opening the doors for Bollywood, the makers have decided to capture the scenic beauty of Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi in their films. Sometime back, ONE 2 KA 4, EK RISHTAA-THE BOND OF LOVE and YEH RAASTEY HAIN PYAAR KE were shot at these eye-filling locales. And now the Sanjay Dutt-Ajay Devgan starrer is being shot there, besides an Amitabh project that will be shot in the country subsequently. Mauritius and Switzerland are passe for the makers. Malaysia is the hot favourite now.
