Starting his career in Bollywood as a supporting actor in his uncle Mahesh Bhatt‘s film, Emraan Hashmi slowly tasted success with the Bhatt camp’s popular films like the Murder series, the Jannat series, Gangster, Raaz series among others. However, now uncle Mahesh Bhatt is not very happy with his nephew Emraan Hashmi working with UTV Disney for his next titled Raja Natwarlal.
Apparently, everything was fine, until Emraan had to prioritize Raja Natwarlal over Mahesh Bhatt’s film Mr. X.. The actor was supposed to shoot Mr. X and wrap up the supernatural thriller in 10 days but instead, he had to allot the dates to the makers of Raja Natwarlal for the promotional activities since the film is nearing its release date. However, this decision of Emraan Hashmi left Mahesh Bhatt miffed and the filmmaker made no qualms in expressing his displeasure. Mahesh Bhatt stated that though he was aware of the change, it did catch him off-guard. The filmmaker also mentioned that he is the architect behind Brand Emraan and hence he expects more loyalty from the actor.
Emraan Hashmi, on the other hand, has never denied that it was because of his uncle Mahesh Bhatt that he could achieve the kind of stardom he is enjoying now. Voicing out similar thoughts, Emraan agreed that Mahesh Bhatt has always been his mentor. He also stressed on the advice that the director cum producer had given Emraan a while ago which said that it is only success that matters whether it is fair or foul. The actor revealed that he wants to leave no stone unturned for Raja Natwarlal because it’s a good film and he also expressed that he wants his uncle to be happy because he is following his words of wisdom.
