Madhur Bhandarkar who had been booked by Versova police on charges of raping small-time model and actress Preeti Jain was granted an anticipatory bail by a special court on Friday. The police now cannot arrest Bhandarkar till the hearing on July 27. Meanwhile Preeti Jain opened up her allegations claiming that she had to unwillingly indulge in sexual intercourse with Bhandarkar 16 times from 1999 to 2004. She even claims to have complete evidence on her allegations in the form of audiotape conversations and offensive SMS's sent by Bhandarkar and is even willing to produce other girls who were sexually exploited by the director. Jain had sent a legal notice to Bhandarkar on July 12. However Bhandarkar claims that he had no physical relationships with Jain and also denies that Jain starred in her earlier films Chandni Bar and Satta, as the girl had reported earlier.
