Konkana Sen Sharma plays wife of Sushant Singh in Lipstick Wale Sapne : Bollywood News

After Ek Thi Daayan, we have rarely got a glimpse of Konkona Sen Sharma, even when it comes to her public appearances but the actress is all set for two of her Bollywood films which will be releasing soon. Recently, when Prakash Jha announced five films, one of those was the Konkana starrer Lipstick Wale Sapne.

While the title in itself suggests that it is women oriented film, we now hear, that Sushant Singh of Hate Story 2 fame will play the role of Konkana Sen Sharma's husband. Talking about the film, the actor mentioned that it deals with the life of middle class people and is very realistic in its approach. Konkana, on the other hand, elaborated on the character she will be playing in the film and stated that she will portray the role of a burqa clad woman named Shirin Aslam and it will be a funky character. The first schedule of the film has already kickstarted in Bhopal and will be completed in December. It will also star Ratna Pathak Shah and Ahana Kumbra as leading ladies.

Further mentioning about her other projects, Konkana also revealed that she will be starring in Megha Gulzar's directorial titled Talwar alongside Irrfan Khan and Sohum Shah.
