Following the world premiere of Kisna at the closing ceremony of the 3rd Pune International Film Festival [PIFF] on January 20, the team left for U.K. for its London premiere the following day to raise funds for the Tsunami victims. The London premiere of Kisna, which was a charity fund-raising event, was held on January 21. The auction of the flute and the sword used in the film fetched a whopping 10,300 Pounds for the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for the Tsunami victims. Later, Ghai celebrated his birthday with his Indian and British cast and their agents. He also announced the release of the two hour-long English version of Kisna, which is scheduled for a May 2005 release.
