While on KHAKEE, producer Keshu has quashed rumours that he is planning to postpone his ambitious project to January 9, 2004. I wouldn't like to commit on any date at the moment, Keshu tells me, Our film is in no race with anyone, not with L.O.C. or any other film. If anyone feels that their's is a bigger film, so be it that way. But he doesn't deny that KHAKEE will release before the year 2003 comes to a close. There's no question of postponing it to January 9. Why should I? KHAKEE will definitely hit the theatres in December. If L.O.C. comes on December 12, we'll arrive on December 26. It's no point clashing with another biggie, he reasons. Incidentally, Keshu, who is co-producing RANVEER with A.B. Corp, has denied rumours that they have signed Lara Dutta as the leading lady in this Big B Sanjay Dutt Abhishek starrer. It's rubbish!, Keshu reacts angrily, We haven't signed anyone yet, not Lara either. It's a figment of someone's wild imagination. The least the media can do is confirm with the film-makers before spreading such rumours.
