Karan Johar posts details about his upcoming films in his latest blog

Have Karan Johar and Nikhil Advani - the team responsible for one of the biggest hits of 2003 [K.H.N.H.] - parted ways? It's known to all and sundry that Nikhil had been working on the script of his next film, to be produced by Yash and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Reportedly, there were cracks in their relationship since Karan disapproved the script Nikhil came up with [penned by MASTI writers Milap Zaveri and Tushar Hiranandani], while a defiant Nikhil stuck to his guns and maintained that the script had shaped up to his satisfaction.

Without getting into ugly confrontations, both Karan and Nikhil decided to part ways amicably, with Karan going his way and Nikhil deciding to go ahead with Jhamu Sughand [reportedly, he's producing the film now].

But Nikhil denies the development outright. Not true at all. Dharma Productions is producing my next film as well, Nikhil clarifies, There's no truth to it.

So what's the truth? Let's get it from Nikhil straight: It's true that Karan suggested changes in the script. He wanted certain things to be reworked upon. But he had made certain changes in KAL HO NAA HO as well. How come there wasn't any uproar then? The script belongs to them [Dharma Productions], so there's no question of handing it over to Jhamu-ji even if Karan disapproves of it.

Karan and I have been friends for the last eight years and you tend to have disagreements at times. That's healthy, isn't it? But that shouldn't be misconstrued as some kind of a war. I will always be grateful to the Johars for giving me my first break, besides having tremendous faith in my abilities.

After KAL HO NAA HO hit the bull's eye, I was offered a lot of films. Jhamu-ji had also approached me then, but the script I am working on is completely different from the one that I am working on for Jhamu-ji's film.

Ideally, I wanted to start my next film [for Karan] by the end of this year, but it'll have to wait since we're reworking on the script currently. Besides, Karan is busy preparing for the launch of Soham Shah's film.

The official version should put an end to all loose talk about the big fight that never occurred in the first place!
