Music director Sandeep Chowta is rather upset about an allegation made in a daily, which states that the 'Kambakth Ishq' song from PYAAR TUNE KYA KIYA was lifted from a foreign song. The report adds that the band from which the song was lifted was planning to sue him for copyright violation. Chowta has called it a case of gross mis-reporting, stating that the said band (Liquid Grooves) is not a band, but a CD-Rom manufactured by a company called Spectrasonics. "This CD-Rom contains rhythms and loops to be used by musicians worldwide. Many eminent musicians including Sting have used these samples," he states. According to him, it is a reference CD-Rom and anyone is entitled to use the samples the minute he purchases it. "Seems like people can't digest the fact that the song is a super-hit," Chowta laughs.
