Earlier we had reported that Irrfan Khan would be producing a film in collaboration with Mira Nair that would be directed by the latter's nephew Ishaan. Now we hear that the film titled Kaash will feature Kalki Koechlin. Interestingly the film that is a love story within a road movie will feature Kalki playing a character with French origins.
In fact the actress will be seen playing a Gaelic traveller who takes the protagonists on a journey across Gujarat which changes their lives. While this film will be financed by Shailesh Singh, the film's screenplay will be co-written by Irrfan's wife Sutapa Sikdar along with Ishaan.
