Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che has been selected for a world premiere at the prestigious Berlinale aka Berlin Film Festival. The film starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkumar Yadav, Amit Sadh and Amrita Puri is a story of friendship and is based on Chetan Bhagat's best-selling novel '3 Mistakes Of My Life'.
Excited at this honour, Abhishek tweeted, " #kaipoche selected to premiere at the Berlin international film festival. Yea baby!!" Chetan Bhagat, who has co-written the screenplay of the film, also tweeted, "Proud moment for @Abhishekapoor and team Kai Po Che, more than anything, proud moment for India. Wow Abhishek! Salute."
While the Berlin Film Festival kick-starts on Feb 7, Kai Po Che is slated to release worldwide on Feb 22.
