It is common knowledge that actors/actresses turn to film direction at a later point in life. There have been innumerable instances of those facing the camera, eventually going behind it and enjoying every bit of their new role. From Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand to Rakesh Roshan, Kamal Haasan, Sunny Deol, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Rahul Roy, (late) Vinod Mehra, (late) Amjad Khan, Hema Malini, Asha Parekh, Feroz Khan, Sanjay Khan, Akbar Khan, Ranjeet and Danny Denzonpa, most of them have been successful in making an impression as directors. Perhaps, taking a cue from good friends Rakesh Roshan and Rishi Kapoor, Jeetendra too has decided to join the fray. Yes, the grapevine is abuzz with the news that the actor is all set to direct his next venture, which will roll after the release of KYONKII... MAIN JHUTH NAHIN BOLTA. Reportedly, the film will star son Tusshar in the lead and will be a remake of a South hit. "The news is partly true," Jeetendra tells us, adding in the same breath, "Our next production will star Tusshar, but it will not be directed by me, but by Anurag Bose. To be honest, I don't have the temperament to be a director. Direction is not my cup of tea." That should set the record straight!
