Shah Rukh Khan's smoking habit has landed him in trouble yet again after a local court in Jaipur summoned the actor for a hearing on May 26 for smoking in public during the IPL match between KKR and Rajasthan Royals team in Jaipur on April 8.
The court issued the summon following a complaint by Anand Singh Rathore, director of a cricket academy in Jaipur. SRK will have to appear before the court on May 26 and if he fails to, the court may summon him through a bailable arrest warrant.
Public smoking is banned under various sections of Rajasthan Prohibition of Smoking and Non-Smokers' Health Protection Act, 2000 and despite this Khan was openly smoking during the match.
