Mentoring the homegrown animation community, The Animation Society of India (TASI) is organizing the 5th edition of its annual international festival - Anifest India. A multi-day festival that brings together experts from animation and allied mediums under one roof every year, Anifest India '09 will be held at IIT Powai, Mumbai, from August 13-16, 2009. This year the festival has been extended to 4 days and features sessions and workshops on art direction & pre-production, character animation & story telling, animating for tele channels, graphic novels and comics, visual effects, voicing for animation, simulation technology, open source solutions and many others.
