Almost every writer these days tells you that he's loaded with story ideas and how several scripts [with complete screenplay and dialogue] are ready to be picked up by prospective film-makers. It's like going to a grocery store, where, if you don't like a particular soft drink brand, you pick up another instead. But writer turned director Abbas Tyrewala thinks differently.
Come to think of it, one would expect the skilled writer of several interesting films and also director of JAANE TU YA JAANE NA and JHOOTHA HI SAHI to be ready with a few scripts in his cabinet. But he's clueless about what he's planning to make next. "I don't work that way. I don't have a bank of scripts with me. I work on one script at a time. If it excites me, it gets made," Abbas states. Tell him that one eagerly looks forward to his next film and he replies promptly, "So am I!"
