As always, we were the first to break the news of Tanuja Chandra's English film, to be shot in America. Well, the latest on the project is that Tanuja has signed Naseeruddin Shah to play Urmila's father in the film. Incidentally, Naseer had played Urmila's father in Shekhar Kapur's MASOOM earlier. Also, Tanuja has finalised the title of the film -- HOPE & A LITTLE SUGAR. To be shot in a 40-day start-to-finish schedule from November to mid-December in New York, the film is a love story between a Muslim boy and a Sikh girl. What's more, Tanuja has roped in Rahul Sharma to compose two songs, both background tracks. The film is set against the September 11 terrorist attacks on America.
