Speculation is rife that Akshaye Khanna has replaced Abhishek Bachchan in Venus' next venture, to be directed by Abbas-Mustan. If readers recall, just last week, there were rumours that Arjun had stepped in Abhishek Bachchans shoes. "Talks are on with Akshaye, but we haven't finalised anything yet. We are still negotiating," Ratan Jain says, when asked about the development, adding in the same breath, "It's not true that Arjun demanded Rs. 1.5 crores for this particular project. The reason why Arjun is not doing the film, is something else," Jain added.
Surprisingly, a source from Akshaye's office denied that the actor was discussing any project with Venus. He added that Akshaye was out of India, so the question of him talking to any producer did not arise at all.
