The Indian Television Academy and 'GR8!' magazine is organising 'The GR8! Women Awards 2004' on February 29, 2004. This is an attempt to recognise the contribution of women in different fields. Says Anu Ranjan, Publisher, 'GR8!', This is an endeavour to accord recognition to the women of substance who have been instrumental for pencilling in some truly palpable and perceptible changes in their chosen genres of activities. The awards in various categories will be decided through a public poll, through forms and also the internet. Finally, a highly eminent jury will deliberate and decide the winners. These awards will be given in various fields including entertainment, science, fashion, corporate etc. The public polling is being held from February 2 to 17.
