Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre was attacked by a 24-year-old girl, while Bendre was rehearsing for a dance item at the Centaur, Juhu, for the Zee Cine Technical Awards, it's reported. According to reports, the girl gave Bendre a couple of stinging slaps and was about to badly rough her up when Sohail Khan, Ganesh Hegde and producer Aly Morani rushed to her rescue and whisked away the aggressive girl. Sonali recalls the incident and says, ''Yes, I was stunned and disoriented for a while. But I continued with my rehearsals. Apparently the girl was under some unnatural influence. Although, I was wincing in pain, I felt sorry for her mental state as she screamed "This is Bobby's song" while slapping me.'' The police has said the girl who called herself Bobby Singh was detained till the Zee event was over.
