The success of CHANDNI BAR has changed Madhur Bhandarkar's life. One keeps hearing of several top producers planning to sign this young director. Some time back, there was talk that he was signed to direct Bhaskar Shetty's maiden venture, titled JAIL, starring Sunil Shetty in the lead. A few days later, the buzz was that White Feather Films (Sanjay Dutt, Sanjay Gupta) had approached him for their next venture, after KAANTE. The latest on Madhur is that he has been signed to direct a film for Mukta Arts. "It's true that I am doing a project for Subhash-ji. I don't know how to express myself, so thrilled am I. It's an honour to direct a film for the Showman," Madhur tells us. Though Madhur not reveal much, a trustworthy source did inform us that the film will deal with terrorism. Way to go!
