Gaurang Doshi is sparing no expenses and efforts in giving his latest venture, DEEWAAR, the very best. Gaurang and director Milan Luthria have just returned from a whirlwind tour of Rajasthan. The duo had gone to seek permissions for shooting within the premises of a fort since it forms an integral part of this Big B-Sanju-Akshaye starrer.
But we've realised that it's not possible to shoot within an actual fort, Gaurang tells me, For even fixing a nail, we have to procure permissions from the archaeological department. It would be cumbersome obtaining permissions for every small thing that we intend changing within the fort premises.
So, what's the alternative? Well, Gaurang has decided to erect a massive fort at Mumbai's Film City, which may take him more than a month to erect. Besides the time, it would cost the enterprising producer more than Rs. 1.5 crores to get the desired look. The fort is supposedly located in Karachi in the film.
