With GADAR and LAGAAN running to packed houses, the producers and distributors of forthcoming films are finding it tough to get the theatres. Obviously, the distributors of the two hits want to make the most of it and are in no mood to let go of the theatres. Hence, a number of films in the coming weeks are likely to get postponed.
PYAAR ISHQ AUR MOHABBAT, which was supposed to release on July 20, will now hit the screens on August 3. Ditto for NAYAK, which is likely to be postponed by one week from August 10 to August 17, while LAJJA will now release either on August 31, not August 10. There are talks that INDIAN might be postponed too, from August 10 to August 31.
Meanwhile, with PYAAR ISHQ AUR MOHABBAT coming on August 3, HUM HO GAYE AAP KE is expected to move ahead by one week. At the rate things are moving, dont be surprised if the release dates get reshuffled all over again.
