The multi-talented Farhan Akhtar who will soon be seen in a live concert in Bangalore, was recently injured on sets of Bejoy Nambiar's currently under production venture Wazir. It is learnt that the actor suffered a muscle pull while shooting for an action sequence which resulted in what is termed as a golfer's elbow.
However, now we hear that Farhan Akhtar has resumed shooting for the film. Commenting on the same Bejoy says, "Farhan was hurt about a week to 10 days ago, while shooting an action scene. However, this did not affect the shoot schedule for Wazir as we were anyway taking a break from shooting. As of now, Farhan is back to shooting the film, in fact I was to start a different sequence but Farhan wanted to resume from where we had left the shoot."
When quizzed about the film's progress, Bejoy adds, "Right now I think we have completed approximately 60% of the film's shoot so we are on schedule and look at releasing next year."
Wazir, that had earlier been titled Do, features Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of an ailing, bed ridden chess-master, while Farhan Akhtar will essay the role of an ATS officer. Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Wazir also features Aditi Rao Hydari.
