The second season of popular Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives has started streaming on the OTT platform from September 2 onwards. As Karan Johar said in the show’s launch brunch that the new season is far superior to the previous one, the audience and fans will surely get a dose of entertainment. And, a scene from one of the episodes of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives 2 is proof of that!
Interestingly, in one of the episodes, Indian Matchmaking’s Sima Taparia makes a cameo appearance. The Mumbai-based matchmaker is seen helping Seema Sajdeh in finding a match. When she questioned Seema about her broken marriage with Sohail Khan, the latter said that their “views did not match”. In response, Sima questioned how it took 22 years to realize it. Though Seema appeared angered by this, she made a joke and asserted “Maybe I prefer women”. Sima seemed clearly upset by her remark.
Later, in the episode, Sajdeh said, “She (Sima Taparia) was horrified. I think she was sweating a little bit when I asked her that.”
The separation of the former star couple came to light after the release of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 1. In the first episode itself, when Sohail arrived at Seema's house. On his arrival, Seema said, "So, Sohail came over" while speaking to the camera. This turned out to be the initial hint. Next, Seema urged Nirvaan (Sohail and Seema’s son) to spend more time with her when he returned from the University.
At that point, Nirvaan replied, “You are talking as if I live across the ocean. I live across the street.” Following which Seema Khan talking to the camera said, “I don’t see enough of him. He stays with his dad, and he comes here and sleeps. It’s one of the most annoying things about Nirvaan.”
