One rarely comes across a producer preponing the release of a film. In most cases, the release date of a film is postponed time and again due to various reasons.
Ramgopal Varma and K. Sera Sera's EK HASINA THI, which was supposed to hit the theatres on January 2/9, 2004, will now be released in 2003 on December 26 [Christmas week]. Incidentally, two more films are scheduled for release in the Christmas week KHAKEE and CHAMELI.
While on EK HASINA THI, this will be the fourth release of Urmila Matondkar this year that has her essaying a pivotal role, after BHOOT, PINJAR and TEHZEEB [which opens this week].
