A section of the print media recently carried a news-report that the Sanjay Dutt-Aftab Shivdasani-Rimi Sen starrer DOST has been shelved. According to this ambiguous report, the film had been shelved due to dearth of buyers. I clarified my stand when the reporter called to verify whether the film has been shelved. I denied it. But the reporter had ulterior motives and the next thing I know, a headline stating that my film has been shelved is splashed in the media. If this is not yellow journalism, what is? an upset Punkej Kharabanda informs this writer. So what's the truth? We are through with the shooting, except for a 10-day schedule that should take place in Mumbai in July/August. Boney Kapoor, who is presenting the film, is busy with the release of his two productions [NO ENTRY, MILENGE MILENGE]. In fact, Sanju [Dutt] is also going all out to co-operate with us, Punkej, the erstwhile business manager to Dutt, reveals. With director Veena Bakshi and Punkej parting ways, Punkej reveals that he'll be completing the balance portions of the film.
