Disney launches ‘Art Attack’

MUMBAI: Put together a little magic, an eye for colour, some imagination with lots of fun and everyone can be an artist with the all new "Art Attack" premiering September 19, 2010 at 10:30 am on Disney Channel! Pottery, painting, sculpting and more - there is something for everyone on Art Attack - kids' favourite, on-air arts and crafts workshop on Disney Channel.

Disney Channel aims to encourage kids to believe in themselves, follow their dreams and express themselves through as many creative forms as they can imagine! Kids will get to explore the world of art and crafts in a fun-filled, entertaining and humorous ride every Sunday at 10:30am.

"Art is fun! It is a great way for kids to express themselves and Art Attack will encourage kids to approach art and craft through entertainment. With Gaurav hosting the show, Art Attack will make art accessible and fun to all kids irrespective of skill levels." An exciting campaign "Paint Your World", will engage kids across the country beginning September 7, 2010 to celebrate the launch of Art Attack on Disney Channel. Kids will be asked to paint their vision of the world - their hopes, dreams, ambitions and messages on a white globe provided by Disney Channel. These one-of-a-kind art pieces will be out together by Gaurav to create a unique art installation in select cities.

Art Attack's new host Gaurav is a 24 year old artist from Dehradun he is also an animator and has conducted several workshops in animation as well as crafts for diverse audiences at leading institutes. Gaurav seeks to engage and inspire them to create art forms out of pretty much anything! In short, he is the perfect host for Art Attack!
