It would be a casting coup of sorts. The grapevine is abuzz that Vikram Bhatt has signed Dino Morea, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu for his new venture, to be produced by Nazir Ahmed [ONE 2 KA 4]. Assembling a cast like this would automatically make the film a hot proposition overnight, but Vikram had a hearty laugh when this writer called to verify the news. It's true that Nazir Ahmed had approached me to direct a film, but that was more than two years ago. However, we'd merely discussed the project. I didn't meet him thereafter. Nor was any money exchanged, Vikram clarifies. But was he planning to cast the three names for an altogether new movie, perhaps to be produced by someone else? Not at all, pat comes the reply, Handling these three in one project would require nerves of steel (laughs). There's nothing of the sort in the pipeline. That should put the rumours to rest!
