Call it a coincidence, most of Vashu Bhagnani’s films are always in the news while in the making due to some reason or the other. Take the case of his latest multi-starrer OM JAI JAGDISH, being directed by Anupam Kher, starring Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Mahima Chaudhary, Urmila Matondkar and Diya Mirza. The film has been in the news for some reason or the other. First it was Tabu, then there was news that Adnan Sami was to play a character and then there was news that Cyrus Broacha of M.T.V. fame was planning to do his bakra act in the film.
The latest rumour, however, is that Vashu Bhagnani and Anupam Kher have roped in Dilip Kumar to enact a special appearance in the film. “Not at all! Dilip-saab is not playing any kind of the role in the film,” denies director Anupam Kher. By the way, the film is fast nearing completion. “We will complete the entire shooting by October-end or the beginning of November,” confirms Kher.
